medical updates

Some good news comes your way. Mom's left arm and hand are showing signs of improvement with her bending the elbow and movement of the fingers along with them starting to stretch out more. She still has very limited use and movement, but now uses the left hand to hold her tooth brush to get the paste on. Though Mom sees this as such a baby step, it's huge to us not having seen her use the arm since Nov 16th, and knowing the extensive damage it has endured.

Mom welcomes your calls and visits. If you want her phone number, please call or contact a family member. She was a little lonely last week.....hint, hint. Please keep things light and upbeat. We don't want to add to any anxiety levels. She has enough to deal with physically, mentally and emotionally right now.

Yesterday, Mom walked about 60 feet with a cane and assistance. She's building her endurance and confidence slowly.

Please continue to pray for her healing and patience with the rehab process. They are needed and appreciated. Remember, God loves to get "knee" mail.
