The blood clot filter and tube to the right lung were successfully done today. The sedation Mom is under doesn't allow for much response. She's resting quietly.

Pray that the blood clot in the pulmonary artery dissolves, the fluid and pnuemonia leaves and the she's able to get off the respirator later this week.

Dad and Scott's health continue to progress as well as mine. I took the day off to rest so I might be able to see Mom in a couple of days.

Thank you to all committing to praying for Mom at a specific time every day. If you haven't informed us of this, please do so below clicking on the comments tab.

God bless you all.

From Psalm 9: The Lord is a stronghold in times of trouble....Those who know your name will trust in You, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Shawn, this is from the current director of the community choir that Mom faithfully worked for as sound tech for many years.
You were heavy on our hearts last night at rehearsal, so we took a minute to again rest you - all of you - in the faithful, dependable hands of Jesus - the trusting at all times is certainly an exercise of our faith, don't you think? You can be proud of Dad in so many ways that I am not aware of, but specifically because he kept his commitment to the choir's concert schedule this season. I would think his presence in the choir must send a message of perseverance and faith to those in the audience who know him. I signed up for the 5 a.m. time for prayer because I am awake then by years of practice, the house is quiet, and it's vital to converse with the Lord at the beginning of each new day. Keep your health, and keep your heart through the long days and nights.
