medical updates

Good news...I'm able to sit up straight in my chair to type without passing out. The flu has ran it's course through my entire household with Aubrey and I still having some after affects.

I haven't heard from other family members the past few days. They may fear getting sick just being on the phone with me. I can't blame them.

I've heard nothing new really. They continue to try weaning her from the machine without making her work too hard. The tube in the right lung was taken out Saturday. The body is able to absorb what remaining fluid there is in the lung now. Pray that Mom will be able to loose the respirator.

Thank you to all who continue to pray for Mom and have committed to the prayer log.

I hope this website doesn't hinder people from making contact with the family. However busy, cold or preoccupied some of us may seem at times, family members do need the personal contact.

I should be able to keep up with this daily now. I missed a few days due to illness and caring for family. God bless.

Oh my, sounds like you all have been terribly ill. So far I haven't had any symptoms of the flu. Sure hope I don't get it. I'm glad to hear you're all doing better. Keep us posted. What were the first symptoms of getting it? Just curious. GCJ

I'm not sure who this actually is, but it doesn't matter. It started with chest congestion and temperatures moving on to sinuses, throat and major energy deprevation. The temperatures lasted about 5-6 days for each one of us except my wife. I won't be visiting Mom until next week to make sure I'm not a carrier.
